Voting

Yesterday my mom and I decided to go and vote early. I told the kids to get their shoes and socks on and they, of course, wanted to know where we were going. This is the conversation:

Chaetun & Xadun: Where are we going?
Me: We're going voting.
Xadun: (excitedly) We're going bowling?!?!
Me: No, we're going to vote.
Chaetun: Ooohhh, we're going on a boat.
Me: No. V-Vote. I'm going to vote.
Chaetun: What's vote?
Me: It's like when I ask you what you want to eat, mac & cheese or sandwiches. Which ever more people want wins.

Cute convo with the boys. lol

That reminds me of an idea I saw from LDS living (I think that's where I saw it) about having family members vote on what to have for dinner on Election day, illustrating to the kids what voting is, how it works, etc.

That is the cutest story ever! I think it is darling that they thought of all the cool things like bowling and boating and got nothing but a crappy booth!
I am so happy for your darling big family, someday you will have to tell me how you have been married for 7 years and can handle 4 boys, Addi is enough to put me over the edge!

That is too funny! We went Tuesday, and waited in line for 45 minutes! It is nice to be done though!
